How to use the Goal section as a Teamleader
Get your new Downline started right!
Starting up a new Downline based on a talk about his or hers dreams and goals for the new business, creates a common baseline and checks off the expectations from the very start.
1. Sit down with the downline. (Or open a Skype session if you are not close by!)
2. Have your downline lock into DMO GURU.
3. The Right hand column is your guide.
Visualize the WHY!
Use the picture section to talk about dreams! Ask good open questions as to why they want to start or develop their business.
This will give you a good idea of the needs and trigger points, for you to help your downline. (And the best part is, that you do not have to write anything down - just talk and ask good questions)
Now ask the downline to go to the picture section in SETTINGS. Click ADD and find at least 5 pictures that illustrates the Dreams and Goals that he or she just described.
Delete any of the default pictures that does not support the dream.
Write the GOALS
Next make the visual Goals real, by writing them down!
Simply go to the SETTINGS menu, and re-write the default Goals in the Goal section. Have a good talk about why the goals are important, and change or add pictures in the vision board i necessary in this process!
HOW TO reach the Goals
Go to the how section, at talk about which steps i necessary, in order to make the Downline succeed in reaching the Goals.
This is where you, as the upline, need to make sure that the efforts matches the Goals. Write down the actions in SETTINGS, and remember, that you can (and have to) change them as they change in the process.
WHAT TO DO every day to reach the goals
Now go to the DMO section, and agree to, which daily steps i necessary for the downline to take, in order to reach his or her goals. Fill out the DMO in SETTINGS.
These steps will change as the Downline progresses, and the DMO is easily changed in SETTINGS.
Commit and Share the dream
And ow to the smart part.
Have the Downline mail these goals to you by simply adding your name and email in the SHARE FUNCTION. 10 seconds later, you have a copy in your mailbox.
During the whole session it will be the Downline writing down, and taking responsibility, and you being the coach and guide!
And when any changes is made, the Downline simply mails them to you again!
Following theese easy steps, you will alwys start or re-start your downline based on THEIR needs and not your expecations!!
If your Downline can not fill out the Goal section at your meeting, simply add a follow-up in your own DMO GURU, and expect to see the goals in your inbox on the agreed day.
If not, you can politely follow up, and very quickly determine, if this is a star, or just hot air. (We have all invested too much time on hot-air-partners)
Next time you meet, simply look at your Downlines PIPELINE on the Dashboard, and you will easily see if the number of Leeds versus customers/Partners correspond with the effort needed to reach this Downlines specific Goals. (If not use the QUICK LEAD function to fill the list)
